About Kingdom Woman Finishing School Scholarship & Grant Crowning Event
ዘውዱ means the crown in the Amharic language, one of Africa's oldest languages. In African culture, the crown is known as a headdress and often signifies one’s familial affiliation, as well as one’s high status, authority or wisdom in society.
ዘውዱ, Kingdom Woman Finishing School's annual crowning event, was birthed to mold, nurture and celebrate Kingdom Women around the world and place significance not on the physical crown to be received but the proverbial crown of thought leadership and self-mastery of oneself, one's mind--the crown that matters--as well as one's readiness for excellence in service, stewardship and kingdom rulership.
ዘውዱ is a leadership and workforce readiness scholarship and grant program for women who desire to represent excellence in service, stewardship and kingdom rulership, no matter what sector of society they desire to serve in . ዘውዱ is an opportunity for women all over the world to present their ideas, business or project for the positive advancement of society and to the increase of the holistic feminine health and wellness and leadership capabilities.
The crowned women, also known as KWFS Heiresses, will be a spiritual and physical embodiment of the excellence that a “KWFS Heiress” possesses. She will represent the epitome of a Kingdom Woman, and she will serve as a paid ambassador for Kingdom Woman Finishing School and assist in crowning the following year’s ambassador.
ELIGIBILITY
What are the requirements for participation?
- Woman
- Any age and stage of life
- Must have be willing to present an idea, business, educational program or social impact initiative that will positively contribute to the world and be used to empower women
- Must be able to clearly articulate how the scholarship and/or grant will be used towards the idea, business, educational program or social impact initiative presented

Now until December 15, 2024 — ዘውዱ Scholarship and Grant applications open and virtual candidate interviews held
December 15, 2024 — ዘውዱ Scholarship and Grant application for the 2024 year closes and final virtual candidate interviews are held
December 20, 2024 — ዘውዱ Finalists are notified; All candidates will receive final notifications and feedback
December 22, 2024 — ዘውዱ Crowning Event Virtual Training held (optional not mandatory, available to sign up / purchase upon request)
December 30, 2024 — ዘውዱ Virtual Crowning Event; awards given
